The draft 2026/27 capital budgets for the Town of Lunenburg and the water utility have been presented to council and members of the public. At a special meeting Tuesday night, the budgets focus on long-term investments such as roads, sidewalks, buildings, water systems, and other infrastructure, including repairs to the Lunenburg Academy roof. Council is expected to vote on the budgets on January 26th, or could defer the vote if more items come up for discussion.
