The Nova Scotia Regulatory and Appeals Board has decided in favour of Solterre to rezone land in Lunenburg for a multi-unit residential building. The rezoning of the property at 9 and 13 Brook Street was rejected by town council, despite a staff recommendation to approve it. Town council said in its decision that it “did not satisfy the applicable evaluation criteria under the Municipal Planning Strategy.” The Appeals Board disagreed and issued its decision on Monday.
