More fallout for the Houston government over budget cuts to provincial grants. Mi’kmaq, labour and environmental groups are planning a Shoulder-to-Shoulder rally in front of the Nova Scotia legislature today. As part of last week’s budget the province cut $130 million in grants. The Assembly of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq Chiefs says the cuts target First Nations groups.
