Volunteer fire departments, ground search and rescue teams, hazardous materials units and other emergency response organizations across the province can apply for funding through the Emergency Services Provider Fund. The program supports volunteer first responder organizations by helping purchase equipment used directly in fire suppression and other emergency response activities. Individual organizations can apply for up to $30,000 from the fund. Applications close July 31.
