Heavy rain is expected in the area later today and into Tuesday as Environment Canada has issued a yellow rainfall warning. The weather agency says heavy rain is expected with 30 to 50 millimetres possible. Two heavier pulses of rain are expected, with a break in the rain possible overnight into Tuesday morning. Mild temperatures will result in rapid melting of snow and localized flooding could be a problem in areas with poor drainage.
