The couple charged after the remains of a newborn were found last week will remain in custody. 23-year-old Sukhpreet Singh and his 23-year-old wife Ramandeep Kaur face charges of concealing the body of a child, indignity to a dead body, obstruction of a peace officer and obstruction of justice. They decided not to proceed with a bail hearing on Thursday and agreed to remain in jail until a court date on June 22nd, when they will enter a plea to the charges against them.
