The PIEMunchers robotics team will receive a $500 community grant from the Town of Lunenburg to travel to Niagara Falls. The team, made up of four Grade 4 students from Bluenose Academy, won the Provincial Championship at the First Annual Lego Robotics Provincial Championships held at Acadia University. They will compete in the Canada Cup of Robotics in Ontario in June. The grant was approved in advance of the Town’s regular Community Grants allocations because of the timing of the national competition. Funding will come from the next year's Community Grants Program budget.
